Encaustics are one of the earliest forms of paint and, at the same time, the freshest, most modern medium there is. Traditional encaustic art includes heat and pigmented wax and has been used in art since the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians.  Ann-Marie describes her fresh approach to this ancient technique as blending painting, playdough and power tools.
